Lyndsey Mundell, LCSW (she/they) is a clinically licensed therapist currently working in gender affirming care at the Damien Center- Indiana’s largest and oldest nonprofit serving folks who are living with HIV. They previously worked as a therapist in private practice, as a social worker, and special education aid in Indy charter schools, and as a case manager for Indiana’s Dept. of Child Services. As a person who explored their gender and sexuality later in life, they are passionate about advocating for safe spaces where kids can navigate these topics with trusted affirming adults. Through this presentation, participants will learn new therapeutic approaches/activities focused on working alongside LGBTQ students and families.
