My name is ________ and I am a school social worker in ________ schools. I am your constituent from ________. Our state organization, the Indiana School Social Work Association, has recently released our priorities for the upcoming session. I am attaching a document which gives information on these priorities along with information about how school social workers assist students, families, schools, and communities. On September 23, 2020, Congress held a briefing describing the importance of School Social Workers and how we can help with the issues our country is facing today, especially racial justice and the effects of COVID-19. I hope that you will use this document that I have attached to understand our role further and consider how we can assist in improving these issues.
